For the past 12 years, Andrew Call has served in a wide variety of roles in Operations, focusing on user and customer experience, while managing complex and impactful projects. Andrew has hired and developed many people and successfully worked across multiple areas of the business. He has worked at some of the fasted growing high technology companies in Silicon Valley, including Facebook, Uber and most recently Houzz.
At Facebook, Andrew experienced the transition from private to public company and the talent requirement changes that resulted from the growth. At Uber, Andrew served as a leader and trained, coached and developed his team into high performers. Most recently at Houzz, Andrew created and led the onboarding experience program for new hires, as well as designed and facilitated workshops on emotional intelligence in the workplace. He understands the unique human capital requirements involved with scaling an organization, and is energized by working with organizations to hire, develop and retain talent.
Andrew also has a passion for professional development coaching and started his own coaching practice. He graduated from the prestigious Coaches Training Institute in 2017 and became a certified CPCC coach.
Andrew lives in San Carlos with his wife Elena, a neurologist, and daughter Isabelle. Andrew enjoys spending time with his family, volunteering, swimming, tennis, creative writing and watching movies. He also serves on the Alumni Council Board at UC Santa Cruz, and has previously served on other non-profit boards in the Bay Area. Andrew earned a BA in Film & Digital Media Studies from UC Santa Cruz.
